A few months ago, I came across a TikTok that showed how Bill Clinton, (born Aug 19, 1946), George W. Bush (born Jul 6, 1946), Donald Trump (born Jun 14, 1946), and Joe Biden (born Nov 20, 1942) were all born within four years of each other and the first three were actually born within three months of each other. It felt like a fun fact in general, but it also emphasized how old both Trump + Biden were when they became president.

In my head, I thought this phenomenon would be correlated with the number of current, former, or future presidents are alive at any one time, but we’re actually at an all-time low for this, excluding the first generation or two after Washington’s birth (1732 - 1767) when the rest of the presidents simply had to start being born.

Turns out Trump + Biden are just really old for presidents…
